Broadcast

The Broadcast feature in Recrubo allows recruiters to send personalized messages to candidates in bulk.

This feature is particularly useful for engaging with candidates at different stages of the hiring process, scheduling follow-ups, or sending reminders. By utilizing pre-defined message templates and workflows (flows), recruiters can maintain a consistent and efficient communication strategy.

How to Use the Broadcast Feature

1. Selecting Candidates for Broadcast

To send a broadcast message:

  1. Navigate to the Candidates section in the sidebar.

  2. Use filters to find the candidates you wish to send the message to.

  3. Click the 'Enable selection' button.

  4. Select the checkbox next to the candidate(s) you want to broadcast to.

    • You can select multiple candidates or use the Select All option for bulk messaging.


2. Initiating the Broadcast

Once you have selected the desired candidates:

  1. Click the Broadcast button located in the toolbar.

  2. A pop-up window will appear displaying the selected candidates.


3. Selecting a Flow and Broadcast Template

The broadcast feature allows you to send tailored messages using predefined flows and templates:

  • Select a Flow: Choose from the available communication workflows to ensure the message fits within the broader engagement strategy. For instance, you might select a flow for a follow-up meeting reminder, an interview invitation, or any other candidate touchpoint. Once a candidate responds to the first message the flow will be activated.

  • Select a Broadcast Template: Templates are pre-written message formats that ensure consistent communication. The template is the first message the candidate will receive from our system. Select an appropriate template based on the context of your communication.

The message template can include placeholders that automatically pull in candidate-specific information, such as their name or most recent application, creating a personalized experience without manual customization.


4. Previewing the Broadcast Message

Before confirming the message, the Preview section will display the content of the broadcast. This allows you to review the message and ensure everything is correct, including personalized elements.

5. Sending the Broadcast

After verifying the message in the preview:

  1. Click the Confirm button.

  2. The broadcast will be sent to the selected candidates, re-engaging them with the relevant information. The dialog will notify you if any of the candidates were unreachable.


Key Use Cases

1. Re-Engaging Candidates

If a candidate has not responded in a while or you wish to update them on the status of a job application, the broadcast feature allows you to send a message to remind or encourage them to continue the process.

2. Scheduling Interviews

Recruiters can use the broadcast feature to send interview invitations or schedule follow-up meetings by leveraging flows and templates that integrate with scheduling tools.

3. Automating Candidate Communication

Broadcasts can be sent to a group of candidates in one go, saving time by automating communication while ensuring a personalized touch through the use of placeholders in templates.
