Filtering the candidate list
The candidate list in Recrubo allows users to effectively search, sort, and filter candidates, enabling a more targeted and efficient recruitment process.
By using the available filters, recruiters can quickly find, re-engage, export, and manage candidates in bulk based on specific criteria. This section explains the filtering options available in the candidate management interface.
Available Filters
The following filter categories can be applied to the candidate list:
Platform
This filter allows users to select candidates based on the platform where the candidate was sourced from; Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, your job site, etc. When a candidate has been sourced multiple times via different platforms only the most recent platform is displayed in the candidate profile. However filtering one of the platforms will all return the candidate.
Usage: Select the specific platform (e.g., LinkedIn, Tiktok, or custom platforms used by your organization) to display only those candidates who were sourced through it.
Vacancy
This filter helps identify candidates who have applied for a particular job opening.
Usage: Choose the job vacancy title to display only candidates who applied for that position. This is useful for quickly narrowing down applicants for specific roles.
Recruiter
This filter is used to display candidates who are managed or assigned to a particular recruiter in the system.
Usage: Select the recruiter’s name to view only candidates currently under their management. This can be expecially helpful to find all candidates assigned to yourself. This filter can also be forced on users so they are not able to see candidates not assigned to them.
Status
Filter candidates based on their current recruitment status. Statusses may vary per environment.
Usage: Choose the appropriate status to identify where candidates are in the recruitment pipeline.
Location
Usage: Select one or more locations to filter the candidates on.
Label
This filter helps group candidates based on predefined labels, often related to job functions, preferences, or specific characteristics. Labels have a value and can be set-up to do very specific filtering on your database.
Examples:
Functie: Accountmanagment: Candidates labeled for account management roles.
Minimum FTE: Find all candidates that want to work atleast 32 hours.
Notice period: none: Candidates with no notice period required.
Usage: Use labels to identify candidates with specific qualifications, job functions, or hiring terms. This is useful when grouping candidates into broader categories for easier management, engaging a group with a specific set of features, etc.
Campaign
This filter allows you to search for candidates based on marketing campaigns they responded to.
Usage: Select a campaign name to display candidates who were engaged through a particular recruiting campaign, allowing for targeted follow-up or analysis of campaign effectiveness.
Additional Features
Enable Selection: Allows recruiters to select multiple candidates for bulk actions, such as exporting, emailing, or re-engaging them. The following chapters go in to more depth explaining these features.
Creation Date Sorting: The list can be sorted by the date candidates were created or added to the system, making it easy to prioritize newer candidates.
Search Bar: Users can input specific candidate details (e.g., name, email, phone number) to perform direct searches.
Example Use Case
Scenario: A recruiter is looking for candidates who applied for the "Accountmanager" role, were sourced through a specific campaign, and are actively seeking employment.
Steps:
Apply the Vacancy filter and select “Accountmanager.”
Apply the Campaign filter to select the relevant campaign.
Apply the Status filter to select "Looking to work."
The system will display candidates matching all three criteria, allowing the recruiter to re-engage or manage them in bulk.
Conclusion
By utilizing the various filters available in the candidate management interface, users can streamline their candidate search process and focus on the most relevant candidates for specific job roles or campaigns. Understanding and mastering these filters will significantly enhance the recruitment workflow and improve the efficiency of hiring processes within Recrubo.
