When the candidate got declined but still appears in the system as accepted you can check and adjust the following. Start looking for the decline application in the flow and click on it.

Switch the Accepted button to Declined. Test the flow again and publish the results. And another issue is fixed!🫱🏻‍🫲🏽

⚠️
