Add steps

On this page the different methods of adding a step are explained.

Dragging method

To add a step in the Bot Studio drag the preferred action to one of the possible locations. The two possible locations are;

• An existing step

• One of the dots between steps

In the video below a new question is added to an existing flow by dragging a step on to one of the dots. After the question is added a new path is added to the flow by dragging a new step on to the newly added question.

Plus Icon & 3 dot menu method

Paths that do not have an end step show a plus icon below the step. This plus icon can be used to add a step at the end of the flow.

The 3 dot menu in the top right of every step has a New step item. This item can be used to add a step to the flow.

Both dialogs have 3 options;

• No condition; Add a new step without an AI condition.

• Condition; Add a new step with an AI condition.

• Insert; Insert a step between two steps without an AI condition.
