Edit steps

This pages explains what you can edit about a step and how to do it. For information on editing actions, links & endpoints refer to the related documentation.

Click on a step to start editing an action. In the overview on the right, all the customisable options are shown. The things you can edit about a step are;

  • The title

  • The order of the actions

  • The order of the links

  • If the step is an endpoint

The title:

  • Click on the slider icon.

  • Click on the title again to begin typing.

  • Replace the old title with a new one.

  • Press enter or click outside the input box to save the changes.

To change the order of actions and links you can drag the items within the menu by click and dragging them in the required order. The order of the Actions determines in what order the actions are sent to the candidate. The order of links determine what condition is evaluated first.

Videos, images, and files may not be sent in the anticipated order, depending on the messaging channel used. While the web widget consistently preserves the sequence of content, other platforms, such as WhatsApp, may not maintain the order when sending larger files, images, or videos.

Recrubo recommends evaluating the happy path first. Evaluating the path you want the candidate to take first improves the performance of your flows.

Endings

Changing the flow end point can be done by enabling the slider at the bottom of the edit menu. Marking a step as an end step will ensure the current flow is disabled for the candidate. You can read more about endings and what they do in this guide.
